Which weather to move and store??

Moving things to store in a self-storage facility requires a lot of physical activity. When it is cold, hot, sunny, rainy, it is hard to find perfect weather to move to the storage facility. However, we can find a better one than the other.

Many people think it is not great to move during a sunny and hot day because it will make people who move very tired. True. It is not a smart thing to move under the sun and it can be also dangerous.

Thus, many people look for cloudy weather when it is likely to be humid. However, that is not a great idea.

Some storage facilities like Dino’s Storage has a dehumidifier and air conditioner for their climate-controlled units. However, if the item is not in great condition when it is stored, it can affect the whole storing time.

Humidity, when stored, can make all the water-sensitive products stored in a wet and humid condition which can be very critical when they are going to be stored in one place for a long time.

Find a day without a cloud and humidity. It is hard to move under the sun, so pick a time around 6 p.m.-8 p.m. It will be great if you have a storage unit with a facility that has 24 hours access like us!

Why self-storage during the pandemic?

The pandemic is getting worse and worse because of the virus spreading.
It makes billions of people lose their jobs and make an obstacle in front of their big life events. People are stuck in the current situation and place with everything piled up.

In this kind of situation, self-storage facilities like Dino’s Storage can be a big help. The storage facility with month to month rent payment can make you a space to breathe since you don’t have to think about lease and contract.

Whether it was a marriage, moving, or school, storage will help you to put everything in one place and give a space to think.

Also, self-storage has an automatic digital gate for people to access their own storage so it is not necessary to think about social distancing. You can get easy and fast access to your own storage unit whenever you want.

How the self-storage can be the best option close to the Amazon fulfillment center

New Amazon fulfillment center is coming at Bondurant, Iowa with a characteristic of a warehouse. The facility will be used as a place that stores products but also for packing and picking up. Amazon fulfillment center does have storage to be used for its own business, but it only keeps the product when it is in transit. There are tons of ways for sellers and buyers to use self-storage units near the Amazon fulfillment center.

Sellers can use the storage units to store their product that frequently goes through the fulfillment center for the transit to the customers. For example, if you sell lots of appliances that consume your personal space but you still want to keep them at someplace before it goes to the fulfillment center, the storage unit nearby will be the perfect option. You can have 24 hours access so that you can manage your products anytime you want.

Buyers who buy things periodically from Amazon but if they don’t want it in their personal house or property, here it is! A storage unit near the fulfillment center can be the best choice to store items you buy before you actually use it. It is going to be very convenient to pick up from the Amazon fulfillment distribution center and manage it anytime you want.

It is so exciting to see the Amazon fulfillment center is building up their facility. Remember, having a personal storage unit that is very close to the Amazon fulfillment center can be an upgrade to your consuming process.

Winter in the Midwest with Dino’s Storage.

Well, it is 2014 now, we are in the thick of winter, the holidays are behind us, and all we have to look forward to is a handful of football games left this season. Our new sunglasses we got for Christmas haven’t gotten much use………..but on the bright side, neither have our new snow blowers and shovels (let alone our backs!).

We have been very fortunate for our mild winter, and minimal snow accumulation we have had so far. Snow storms can cripple a business and even a community when they come as often as some of the country has seen this year. One more reason for us to be thankful I guess.

The storage business here at Dino’s was closed the last week of 2013, which was a VERY, VERY nice blessing from the ownership of Dino’s. We are all back now, refreshed, and just waiting for your business!

If you have never used a storage before, but have considered using one, you are probably a good candidate to consider calling me to find out what I can do to help you organize your basement, or a place to put your seasonal decorations away where they won’t be in your way, or just take this boring time of year to organize and put your place in order. I am sure that if you call me to inquire about what I can do for you, you will be surprised.

So, don’t wait………give us a call……..you will be happy you did.

Omaha’s Dino’s Storage-Reason For The Season

It’s that time of the year when you need to give thanks for what you have. You may think times are hard, but take a look around and see the less fortunate. There are many people out there that are homeless, cold and hungry. We need to remember these people and help them. Many have lost their jobs to cut backs. Some may be sick and can’t work. We may be worried about how we are going to buy all these presents for everyone. Remember that is not what Christmas is all about. Be thankful for what you have and give to the people that need help. Many need warm coats, hats and gloves. Many need warm meals and something warm to drink. A little kindness goes a long way and can bring smiles to many faces. Children that have never known what it is like to be warm and have hot meals. Pets that are left out in the cold and are hungry and freezing. They need help. Let’s step back and think about this and help. There are many organizations that you can donate to. Be thankful for what you have and give a little. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and remember what Christmas is all about.

Self Storage for Businesses

Most people think that storage facilities are only used for individuals storing personal items. I hear this often when business owners call to ask about storage options, storage units for businesses big or small are a great way to save money and space. Prime example here at Cedardale; I have several businesses who store seasonal items, items needing archived, and especially now with the overflow of holiday items they do not have room for. Utilizing space in a business is important so remember that Self Storage for businesses is very common and a great way to help your business grow.
